We provide real-time streaming market data for the prices described in the table below. You can also choose to receive delayed market data. Please note that free live market data (updated every three minutes) is available in the Account Window within Trader Workstation (TWS) for contracts which you currently own even if you do not currently hold market data subscriptions. |

Professional versus Non-Professional
|

| |
| |
Most exchanges and data vendors classify customers as either non-professional or professional. By default, organizations such as corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships and any account where the data is used for more than personal investment purposes is deemed to be professional. In addition, private persons may be considered professional if they are registered as a security or investment advisor, or act in a similar capacity. A trader who is employed by a financial services business may also be considered a professional. Click here for more information about non-professional qualifications.
Clients choosing to subscribe to US non-professional real-time market data will have the USD 10 (or non-USD equivalent) monthly market data subscription fee waived if they spend USD 30 (or USD equivalent) or more in commission for the month.

Why do we offer so many different types of market data subscriptions? Do you have to subscribe to any market data?
Our clients range from individual investors to fund managers and institutions. In order to meet the demands of our diverse client base, we offer a very wide variety of research and news subscriptions (none of which are required) to choose from.
You are welcome to subscribe to any (or none) of the available options that you wish and you may cancel them at any time.
We offer both a la carte and bundled services including IBIS, our comprehensive news and fundamentals research platform add-on to the TWS.

Market data is available for your convenience. You are not required to subscribe to market data.
When you subscribe to market data you will be charged (monthly) fees by our clearing firm (or the exchanges). We pass these fees on to you without any additional markup.

How to View Free Live Quotes on your current portfolio positions:

We are not nickel and diming you, we are being transparent and offering the lowest possible overall trading cost to our clients. If you think that our costs are high, please understand that we are actually showing you what you are paying for and are not making up the difference where you will be unlikely to notice it (like within a price spread instead of passing the lower price on to you).

- Live Quotes: You will receive live quotes on positions that you currently hold/own. These quotes are updated every three minutes and may be viewed within the Account Window in Place Trader Workstation (TWS). To receive live streaming quotes elsewhere you may wish to add a market data subscription that covers the securities and/or exchanges relevant to the type of securities and/or markets for which you are interested in receiving quotes.
- You may open the Account Window by either:
- Free delayed quotes are available and fees may be waived for active traders who choose to subscribe.
- We have a ton of awesome choices to meet the needs of every level of trader (including professionals) however you are welcome to choose the service provider of your choice for market data and info.
- Place Trade recommends that you always use accurate market data and information before placing trades.
