2008 - Present: Sarah Place currently serves on the statewide North Carolina Council on Economic Education (NCCEE) Board of Directors.

2006 - Present: Komen for the Cure (Race for the Cure) Triangle Affiliate - Co-Chair PR& Communications Committee, Scripts & Stage Management as well as participating in several other committees over the years.

2010 - Sarah Place named CFO of the Year Awards - Business Leader Media

2009 - Sarah Place named Good Samaritan at CFO of the Year Awards- Triangle Business Journal

2008 - Sarah Place selected as Chairman of the Kids Voting Wake County Board of Directors for 2009 after serving as Vice Chairman of the Board (2007-2008)

2008 - 2010: Sarah Place served as a judge for InvestWrite®, an innovative national writing competition, produced by The Stock Market Game program and sponsored by the Foundation for Investor Education.

2007 - Sarah Place named to Top 25 Women in Business - Triangle Business Journal
