Place Trade offers both full service financial planning/investment advice for our full service clients and deep discount online trading platforms for our online trading clients.  We offer maximum flexibility for our clients by allowing them to choose the level of service that they desire.  This flexibility allows you as the advisor to maintain a closer relationship with your clients rather than losing them completely to another online trading firm.

How does this work?  Full service clients may choose to trade online in addition to working with their advisor and online clients may choose to seek out the advice from an experienced advisor when they need it.  When this happens clients will pay a different rate than if they were strictly online or full service clients. 

While our full service brokerage commissions are extremely low our advisors use a separate commission schedule (for full service clients) from what our online only clients pay.  When online only clients get advice from full service advisors they will pay the full service brokerage commissions for transactions resulting from this advice.

Independent Registered Representatives can choose whether or not to offer online trading to their clients and they may set their own commission (which must be pre-approved before first use).  

Semi-independent RRs working under the Place Trade^® name may not set their own commissions.

Fully licensed registered representatives will have the opportunity to offer traditional mutual funds as well as other traditional investment and financial planning products that are held fund or company direct (at pre-approved financial service providers outside or our clearing firm).
